Join us at the Community Workshop NOLA makerspace to learn basic woodworking skills and make a beautiful table of your own. In this 8 week workshop, you will learn how to design a table, purchase wood, use woodworking tools and equipment, and finishing techniques. You choose the design and dimensions of the table and purchase your own wood for your project, with the assistance of the instructor. At the end of the 8 weeks you will leave with a wealth of woodworking knowledge and a beautiful handmade table. This class is open to all! No woodworking experience required.
Come enjoy our shop and tools, make friends, and learn a new skill.
This workshop takes place on the same day every week for 8 consecutive weeks.
Individual tickets and couples tickets available. Come make a table yourself or grab a buddy to make it with you!
This workshop will take place at our shop located at 1201 Mazant St.
