Mid-Century Modern Plant Stand

In this workshop, participants will learn to use the miter saw and drills to build a sleek plant stand for your home. We will review tool safety and best practices, then guide you in building a two-tiered mid-century modern plant stand. The dimensions of the plant stand are 10" long x 10" wide x 20" tall. Plant stand can hold a pot with with a base up to a 10" diameter. Participants will also learn about “finishing” techniques (sanding, staining, painting, polyurthaning, etc.) to personalize and enhance the look of their plant stand and protect the wood over time. Finishing will be done on the participants own time after the class. All materials included in the class. This class is open to all! No woodworking experience required.
