In this workshop, participants will learn the safety and use of the chopsaw, drill press, router table and brad nail guns to make a sleek and modern hanging bike rack with storage tray. Participants will also learn about “finishing” techniques (sanding, staining, painting, polyurthaning, etc.) to personalize and enhance the look of the bike rack and protect the wood over time. (finishing will be done on the participants own time after the class). All materials included in the class. This class is open to all! No woodworking experience required.
